Coach House Pub
We are a small cozy traditional style pub located in the hamlet of Ballantrae on Highway 48 just north of Stouffville.
Our food is freshly made daily on the premises with plenty of daily and seasonal specials.
We have 10 beers on tap, enough diversity to suit all tastes.
We host weekly entertainment on Saturday afternoons and most Sunday afternoons.
We always wanted to create a true local pub where people can feel like part of our family and indeed we feel like part of theirs.
We feel that we have accomplished that goal so well that our tag line is
‘Where People Meet As Strangers and Part As Friends’
What People Say About Us
Great Food and Service http://www.tripadvisor.ca
We went on a Saturday afternoon, there was music and customers were singing at 3 in the afternoon. Great atmosphere but even better food. I had the mac and cheese and I would say it is the best I have ever had at a restaurant. Nice and creamy with a bite of sharp cheese. My hubby had the beef dip with a Caesar salad. It was all very fresh and home made. The staff were friendly and the service was great. A limited menu but what they have they do it very well. Highly recommend this great pub! ModlouiseRating:

First Time… Good Time http://www.tripadvisor.ca
We dropped in for dinner and arrived around 5pm to find entertainment from 2:30-530 on Saturdays and entertainment on Sunday's as well. Nice extra! Menu is a little limited for heart healthy foods. We enjoyed the roast beef dip very lean as well as the turkey club sandwich made with real turkey not cold meat. I would have preferred a wholesome grained bread rather than the white. All in all is was very good. Two sandwiches, two Diet Coke and two beers $50-60 including tip. Found the staff and other patrons welcoming and service was excellent. If you haven't been there check it out for yourself.Rating:
Lovely little Pub! http://www.tripadvisor.ca
Lovely little pub! Small menu with some yummy dishes. Pricing is very reasonable, well worth the visit. Service and knowledge still needs to be worked on even after all these months.Rating:
Cozy dining http://www.tripadvisor.ca
A small but friendly new pub that caters to a variety of tastes. The beef pub pie has such a high crust over it that you wonder how they get it that way. The fish and chips are extremely good with fresh cut fries and always fresh fish. Good selection of draft beers and wines for casual dining. Service is prompt but not rushed. Best to have reservations around weekends and holidays.Rating:
Reminds One of an English Pub http://www.tripadvisor.ca
This relatively new pub is located in Ballantrae, Ontario, but the address is actually Stouffville. The atmosphere is cozy and friendly and the staff are willing to chat with clientele when not too busy. There are daily specials, a good variety of draft beer, and interesting items are on the menu. The Cobb Salad, Liver dish, Fish and Chips with Icelandic Cod, and daily soup are always good. But the Prime Rib on Sundays is to die for. If you are in the area, don't miss this charming little pub where you will be warmly welcomed. Lynne IRating:
